It's been a roller-coaster ride since late 2022 when ChatGPT was released. Given the wall of media coverage since then, what's your general outlook on AI? Do you think it presents an existential threat or a route to a brighter future?
As this site gets more profile I'm refreshing this post/topic as I think it is still very relevant. There are still wildly opposing views about AI alignment and it's trajectory generally, despite no major incidents (that I've seen) being reported. Comments please!
