Welcome to the AI Futures Forum: the place to discuss Artificial Intelligence and to learn about its implications.

Since late 2022, I’ve been deeply immersed in the world of AI, analysing its technical, societal, and political implications amongst others. My goal is to understand the full and fascinating picture, much like taking an engine apart to see how it works. This exploration has, I hope, allowed me to develop informed perspectives on AI’s potential and the challenges it presents, and to share the knowledge I have collected with the widest audience possible both in the UK and abroad.

However, it is much too important a subject – with an immense number of interconnecting parts – for just one person to appraise. It is my intention that this site becomes not only a resource to be built upon by all, but also a forum where we can build a greater understanding of the landscape and a consensus on where it should lead us. Ultimately I hope what is discussed here will feed into Government policy, too.
